Giants crowd tonight looks packed - it’s in Canberra so I don’t really see this as a good thing per se - when you have more support in csnberra than you do in the area you’re meant to represent I think thst it concerning. Either embrace western Sydney or move to Canberra.
They played at the exact same time as the Brumbies, and in not so good news for the Brumbies. GWS got 12k and Brumbies got 8k.
them Brumbies have fallen real bad, 8k aye...

Was at the Gold Coast game today. Was weird as all the members areas were quite full - like all the corporate area was about 85 percent full and behind the goals at grandstand in also a lot more than usual. Yet where I stand usually it is chokers (mainly opposition supporters who aren’t members of gc) as they are reserved paid seat - was still a lot on bottom ground row but the stands didn’t seem as full on the wing as usual. Never seen it like that. Good crowd and was predominantly suns fans by a mile / maybe that’s why the other side and GA area were so full ? Good to see the corporate area also having a decent turnout - went there last year - $400 for the ticket and another for my son. Was worth it though but do enjoy getting down into the standing room area - although getting more and more difficult to get a good standing point must say.
were there 9K in the loos fwed ...... all game ? 8-[
a bad curry for all of them ?
:-k
       :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

4 in 5 seats taken apparently :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/
what utter rot [-X [-X [-X [-X [-( [-( [-(

the swines take the field here

the main stand is essentially

empty
fudging filth [-X [-X [-X [-X
stadium capacity is 27k
with the biggest crowd being 24k against Collingwood
and in that game it looked like every seat was taken.

18k against Sydney... 9k empty seats... has logic i guess

And thats with the Brumbies being the most successful Australian super rugby team there is .... easily
the grants still rely on away fans from Vicdumboh & the Riverina
otherwise they're down there with the brumbies

while the raiders had the assistance of about 150 Dolphin fans yesterday

lets analyse that pic from X of yesterdays crowd on the GC, there are so few people there its easy to do

those bigger bays hold 500 seats each
the smaller ones in the lower bowl about 150 seats in each

pic 1
there are 7 of the bigger bays & 7 of the smaller in that pic
4500 seats
pic 2
3.5 big bays in shot , 3.5 smaller ones .. so 2250 seats
6750 seats in those 2 pics
27% of the ground

people in that pic ( pic 1 )
I counted 350 in the top deck bays , & about........50 in the bottom areas

pic 2
a few more in these , about 350
some up the back out of the sun in the lower bays , maybe 200

I make it
1000 people in those 2 pics , 15% of the seats occupied
meaning the rest of the ground had to be totally full, at capacity ..... it was not , not even close

18K in attendance
like fuck there was        :(/ :(/ :(/

stadiums dont create tribalism. people do. Where a team plays shouldnt matter.

its fucking sad you dont get that.
Where a team plays shouldnt matter True that, Inter Milan and AC Milan share the same stadium and it's one of the biggest and fiercest rivalries in world sport.

Yeah - Collingwood and Carlton has been a grudge match since I can remember. Collingwood V Essendon as well - particularly ANZAC Day - I did the pilgrimage last year :).

The AFL long out grew its club grounds! The NRL struggles to fill them on most occasions!

Not everyone needs to play at shoebox size stadiums. Most of the Melbourne clubs have existed since before there was a rugby league. Also tribal? Penrith fans are so fucking tribal they can't be added supporting a team playing 20 minutes doen the road. That's fucking lazy.
