There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.

Re: Battle of the Gold Coast - Suns vs Titans
I don't see why the Suns & Titans cant get along & support each other.
Lets look at America for an example. All the Football, Baseball & Basketball teams from each city support each other. I don't see why that cant happen on the GC.

why should the NRL assist the fumbling game when they lie about everything regarding their progress in NSW & QLD ?Pete__09 wrote: Tue Aug 27, 2024 11:16 amI don't see why the Suns & Titans cant get along & support each other.

Stirring the pot saying they're about to take over ..... QLD is about to become a fumbling state ... like fuck it is you singlet wearing m^ongs

& the US comparison is typical of a clueless fumbler
the US has 340 million people , not 27 million
NFL & MLB do not compete with each other either, summer/winter ..... ridiculous analogy

Hardwick talked about this when he took over.Pete__09 wrote: Tue Aug 27, 2024 11:16 amI don't see why the Suns & Titans cant get along & support each other.

He can talk all he wants , he needs to tell his sports CEO to tell the fucking truth for once about how ordinary the fumbling game is going & stop manipulating informationFred wrote: Tue Aug 27, 2024 1:55 pmHardwick talked about this when he took over.Pete__09 wrote: Tue Aug 27, 2024 11:16 amI don't see why the Suns & Titans cant get along & support each other.

then PVL might cut the fumbles n stumbles some slack

Re: Battle of the Gold Coast - Suns vs Titans
I think it would benefit both the suns and titans - both need to attract more fans and for the titana - that is drawing other teams nrl fans toward them and the suns winning over more locals toward AFL. It’s a win win for both. Libs but can see that it possibly in the nrls best interest.

Winning in crowd sizes - but was pretty even - which I agree is great considering it is a RL area.

what would the Titans gain by working with the AFL SUNS on the gold coast..(i see very little advantage)Fred wrote: Tue Aug 27, 2024 5:42 pmI think it would benefit both the suns and titans - both need to attract more fans and for the titana - that is drawing other teams nrl fans toward them and the suns winning over more locals toward AFL. Re: Battle of the Gold Coast - Suns vs Titans
The AFL does work with the storm in Victoria & vice versa. The footy wants to help Rugby League there. We want to help the lesser sport in Footy country.
Why can't that happen in Rugby League states, especially Gold Coast. I do not see a problem with it. But clearly the Titans & all the Sydney Rugby League clubs do especially when it comes to the Swans in Sydney. What are they scared of?
