How much did TV put in the NRL's pockets on Friday night? Or the Broncos come to that (I'll skip the Storm because they were the away team).
I would say A few million coming from the 2b they got from there sale of there tv rights
That 2 billion was in a lump sum at the very beginning. How much went into the NRL's pockets from TV on Friday night? (Underlined for emphasis)

It's wrong. It's zero. If you think I'm wrong prove it.

Fox , nine, sky pay the NRL $2 billion to telecast 24 matches & 3 origin games a year for 5 years ($200m a year). So you might need to think about it.

Its not actually paid at the begining. Its an agreement that is then partially paid each year,

Paid for when? You are totally missing the point here. Last Friday? Nope!

Fox is putting the squeeze on the AFL because their ratings are atrocious. They're simply not worth the money they are paying. This is looking like a dogs breakfast. Fox aren't happy. Seven isn't happy. The AFL isn't happy. The clubs aren't happy. And Paramount/10 aren't genuinely interested so there is no bidding war.

The new deal is going to be very very interesting!!!! Nothing is going to plan. Gilty is in a world of pain.

Who”s going to run a seeep should the AFL get a record deal as to the excuses or efforts to downplay it by some of the Rl folk here?

I’ll take the “per minute” arguement .

Up for grabs are -

afl had to sell their soul.

They got more because (insert name) wanted to stick it to the NRL/V@Landy@s

The NRL deal is actually better but the nrl want to keep it secret.

The AFL lied and it really isn’t that much

It’s all contra - so really what it says

Will we heat - well the afl is simply valued more by media networks that want it than nrl…..

I’m pretty sure the article says the delayed games would be outside of Victoria.

I’d be surprised if delayed gsmes were given the green light.
