I think, cough cough, really...

It's AFL-haters not liking when they see low NRL figures.

Data is data, it is what it is, clear as day.

Like I mentioned earlier, already read a ratings article on a news website today, with the EXACT same ratings.

There were ~1.1m Australians watching last night's game. Not happy? Get over it, have a sook (as always), find a new forum 😴

Fri TV #NRL #NRLSouthsTitans Nine 379k (Syd 241k Bri 138K) + 20k for gem (est) + 267k regionals = 667k without fox

Fri TV #AFL #AFLNorthSaints Seven 359k (Mel 268k Ade 91k) 7mate 130k (Syd 31k Bri 23k Per 76k) + 163k region = 652k without fox

This will all come down to fox ratings

20k for gem? The average for Gem this year, accord to Wookie is 39k. And I would say that includes the less popular Sunday arvo timeslot.

20k would be about right given the horrible ratings gem gets for RL.

Keep in mind we had almost 20k more at the ground too, and our regionals appear to be more than 1/3rd metro this year, while yours appear to be less than 2/3rd for most games

apparently AFL regionals were 180k and foxtel was 255k. That would make the AFL total for Friday night 924k

NRL need 258k from Fox to win

Last nights #NRL had a national average audience of 682,000 on @Channel9 & 9GEM (5 City: 403k/ Regional: 279k)
Fox was 208k so total of 888k

That's another win to the AFL who now lead 12-4

Most likely.

And before you bound off on your "he makes shit up" crap. Theres literally nothing to suggest that he does in fact plant false figures. Every figure he posts for metro, regional and foxtel squares with other sources. And his AFL figures square with what Nielson releases on mondays.
I have no problem Mr Twit or his site. I do have a query about some of the unsubstantiated AFL regionals that get put down to MR twit and his updates.

A virtual NRL reserve grade side gets similar ratings to the AFL . That is just pathetic . No its beyond pathetic.

Why Just the Origin players? There was more that a dozen blokes out on Friday and they still got more ratings on FTA than the AFL . Last night on PTV there were 2 matches, also with many players out, yet still out rated the AFL's by 20-25% .
And on Wednesday night we will get another 3.5m plus.

Wow

why were there a dozen players out? From what I've read the bunnies have no players in SOO. Why are players rested if they arent playing in the SOO? :hmm:

The only reason theres a query in the first place is because before this season we rarely had AFL regionals published unless the AFL released them. A fact never bought up the NRLs "what about our regionals" brigade is that no ones regionals were taken into account.
Your mob liked to make out/promote 5 city ratings as being representative of Australia . Many AFL viewers still think that's that is case. But that is pure fantasy. NRL viewers are entitled to mention regions considering 20-25 % of our teams are regional.

There is no problem with Mr twit. Rather the problem comes from people using his name to substantiate mysterious/bogus updates. This has made him a bit of a running joke.
