if you read the article it does...

saying MR McAuliffe wants to take it to the suns. etc

Well given The suns had more people attend their games than the titans did this year ... and the suns were a basket case... he’ll need to do something ..,

the guy has been penalised twice by the ATO is the last year, and some believe his assets arent worth anywhere near what he says.

Youd hope some severe due diligence is being done at nrl hq.
Given their track record ... doubt it.

When the suns play well their crowd figures smash the titans mostly embarrassing figures. I have been to a titans game, zero atmosphere fans too quiet !

A lot of reports that mostly opposition fans at some games. Rl is the biggest sport here problem is people follow other teams. My experience of the suns crowd is a lot have another team and will turn out in colours and support their team against the suns but when suns aren’t playing they get right behind the suns and turn up to watch as well. Don’t think the titans have that type of support.

If I were the Suns I would be more worried about the Tv figures..
there pretty avg..

titans were a huge basket case last year.
both teams had huge injuries and coaches sacked..

its like the Gold Coast is cursed..

I think tv figures are one measure. The real impact and importance is Australian rules football at grassroots .... and this is going very well indeed. Rl, although stereotypical, is largely the sport of the lower classes ... Australian Rules has taken the ru people with ru struggling majorly. I went to a junior Rl game this year .... and oh boy ...
