The broken game that had far hogher ratings and a far far bigger crowd than the nrl last night?
Yep. And as stated on innumerable occasions....you win a few rounds.....we win the fight!!!!! And of course in the direct comparison with your own code in 2017 you are down near 7M viewers or 20% for the year. #brokengame #saveusgilty #theuglymess

Yep you win crowds easily ..
No arguments

Pity you can't admit defeat when it comes to other comparisons .
the difference in crowds is night and day. The same cannot be said for ratings
Oh dear .
Millions & millions of viewers is a night & day difference
You are too far into the cult to admit that .

% wise it's small, especially compared to crowds where the AFL is ahead by more than double. That would be like you guys winning the ratings by 130 million

There's no need for us to imagine crowds watching our code.

Re: Sydney league crowds
I saw a table that had South Sydney and West Tigers as having the highest average crowds of the Sydney teams.
Thought this was strange as one is a merger and one was re-enstated a while back. Did the 3 clubs have shit crowds before being merged/dismissed or were their issues unrelated? And how has South Sydney turned that around?

Not really a fighting question I know, perhaps wrong forum.

I think this Year for the Sydney Clubs top 3 are

St George
Souths
Tigers..

all 3 clubs AVG crowds have lifted.. once merged / rejoining the NRL

Tigers Brand know as Balmain was a very popular club..
by joining with Wests yes it did annoy some supporters but the supporter base grew..
now besides 2005 that have had little success.. but a big fan base.

Souths>> came back into the comp with massive hype
but after 3 wooden spoons in a row, this club sank to huge lows..

Until Russel Crowe bought them out and slowly turned this club around..
around 2010 this club started to really go somewhere.
with big sponsors hoping on board and crowds tripling on there way to the 2014 G.F

P.S keep up the questions its good to have different questions asked in this forum lol

Russel Crowe and Peter Holmes A Court were names I very much got tired of hearing on the news. Absolutely well done to them though for turning it around.

Was the Balmain/Wests merger more of an absorbtion then? From an outside perspective they seem to be one of the clubs that I heard about more growing up.

Another thing I wondered. Which are the biggest Sydney teams? In terms of crowds, support, relevance, prestige etc. In Melbourne it's always been quite clearly the big 4. Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon and Richmond. Now it's Collingwood and Richmond a wrung above Essendon & probably Hawthorn before a decent gap to the next tier of clubs. (Just how I see relevance in Melbourne - haven't looked at member numbers)
