I expect the ratings to also be higher although im not sure by how much. Last year the ratings for the Suns and GWS games begain to fade during the year. I expect the ratings for those 2 teams to maintain their higher ratings to some extent through out the year.
According to Wookie the FTA ratings are 10% down, probably due to Perth showing games on 7mate. But Foxtel is up 30%
According to news in Perth 50k are still to take up digital TV

metro = 851 + Regionals (.66) + 2nd Channel 45 + 2nd channel regionals (.33) + 61 ? on PTV (sky).
I have used the same for yours only regionals are reversed and Fox not Sky is used for PTV.
As far as regionals go, I think there pretty right, one wont change that. I checked out the last 3 on Free TV and there pretty right 67% - 58% - 73% . Its just depends what teams are playing that week.
That would fine if we didnt know the actual ratings and they were fairly accurate. Unfortunately all of the ratings seam to be a lot less then your preditions.

Ask you can see the ratings from the last few matches on 'Free TV' different games vary quiet a bit 67% - 58% - 73% . But if you use the last 3 ratings as a guide they certainly don't all seem to be less.
And It certainly isn't my prediction /guide. with the difficulty of accessing regional results, especially for AFL several journalists , Roy Masters(and others) have said this ratio is about right.
AS you can see from the last 3 matches they finish around the 66% . And it would be similar , I assume, with the AFL . So how is it fare to pick out one or two results that dont suit you? then eveything is being thrown out of Kilta.

I dont mind you doing it, however if you know the actual ratings, shouldnt you be using them instead.

Regionals are often not shown, especially if the Metro totals are low.
Every time the regional NRL ratings are lower the AFL supporters will complain - and when there higher they'll be a deafly silence. An opportunity NRL supporters will rarly get because the AFL regionals are very rarely shown. And when they are shown, and are under, I'm sure we'll hear the cry ''this regional area wasn't counted' or some other remote village
I have also noticed that the official oztam ratings number often differs from other agencies, pressumably because there ovenight ratings and not always correct.

Try this.
Week 14 - Fri
Regional Tam = 474k , Free TV regionals = 418
Despite the fact that it is unfair to pick out a few that dont suit. It is very time consuming to chase down these figures especially when they vary like the two above.

Ok so its time consuming i get that. What if we dig up a few. Just the ones in the top 10 or so for you. Would you change the list then? I will be fair and if i find they are bigger numbers for the NRL or smaller for the AFL i will still present them with a source. Would that be ok?

I will make changes for the first four weeks. After that there is a problem. The ratings figures given are for one game - the live game (live Syd + live Bris) It is impossible to differentiate .

6/4/13 Friday night NRL
@MediaweekAUS: Fri TV #NRL Live: Nine 809k (Syd 447k Bri 362k) GEM 45k (Mel 36k Ade 5k Per 3k)
Estimated regionals using 66% of metro figure is 563k
Actual figure was 474k

Something's not right here. I reckon the regionals for the NRL have dropped because the Oztam metro catchment for Brisbane and Sydney includes an extra 700-800k this year.

67%
58%
73%
61%
74%
61&
Can't see a problem.
Reg. tam figure is not for the corresponding week.
I've changed the figures slighy. Dont worry you've still got a firm grip on the silver
