I think today's Queens Birthday clash might be a record audience?
What an absolute nail biter! Legit had a heart attack (as a neutral supporter) all day
I also can't remember a year with higher anticipation leading-up.
Any thoughts??
Didn't know it was on and didn't watch so can't help ya. Did see the Bulldogs v St George game.

Not a public holiday in Brisbane but not sure if that will impact too much.

Yesterday's Queens Birthday clash had nearly 400k in Melbourne on Channel 7 (up on 2016), over 130k on Fox Footy in Melbourne too (2nd biggest to Anzac Day).
Lead to a whopping 521k for Seven News in Melbourne alone at 6pm.
Seven had a big win.

pussycat, notice how the recent rounds with 6 and 7 games have outrated a number of rounds with 9 games. Shows you how showing fewer games in isolation can outrate more games shown concurrently

Yes , I noticed that. We had 3 FTA matches, Thur/ Friday night as well as Sunday afternoon. Where as the AFL had 4 FTA matches Thur/Fri/Saturday night as well as Monday afternoon and finished just 350k in front.
I also noticed how your concurrent/over lapping matches theory worked out on Saturday. Three matches shown back to back,
1.30 HAWTHORN V GOLD COAST 137,000
4.30 BRISBANE V FREMANTLE 191,000
7.20 ESSENDON V PORT ADELAIDE 177,000
but but but
All in all a good week for the NRL.
Our Australian total shows us behind about 2.8m. And , I think, Wookie is yet to add the last round for the NZ total.

ratings seemed down overall for the last weekend, maybe the long weekend. I didnt see any Saturday NRL ratings for the NRL but your other game's STV ratings were even worse than those posted above:
Sun STV #NRL #FoxLeague #NRLTigersRoosters Metro 139k (Syd 85k Mel 8k Bri 37k Ade 1k Per 9k)
Fri STV #NRL #FoxLeague #NRLManlyKnights Metro 148k (Syd 93k Mel 19k Bri 34k Ade 1k Per 2k)
Fri STV #NRL #FoxLeague #NRLBroncosSouths Metro 167k (Syd 83k Mel 18k Bri 54k Ade 2k Per 10k)
Not sure how you think thats a good weekend when we beat your round tally with less matches. The week before was even more one-sided with a game less

Ratings were about Average for us.?
Saturday night was Essendon v Port , it was show in all your markets. With 1 extra FTA game you manage about 350k more
The PTV matches you point out are metro only. You can add another 70k for National. The AFL PTV numbers shown are national.
The week before we had just 2 FTA matches

Sat STV #AFL #FoxFooty #AFLDonsPower Metro 146k (Syd 19k Mel 70k Bri 13k Ade 19k Per 25k)
Sat STV #AFL #FoxFooty #AFLHawksSuns Metro 103k (Syd 15k Mel 42k Bri 12k Ade 14k Per 19k)
Sat STV #NRL #FoxLeague #NRLTitansWarriors Metro 126k (Syd 72k Mel 10k Bri 40k Ade 1k Per 4k)
Sat STV #NRL #FoxLeague #NRLPanthersRaiders Metro 180k (Syd 118k Mel 14k Bri 41k Ade 1k Per 6k)
Sat STV #NRL #FoxLeague #NRLEelsCowboys Metro 175k ( Syd 109k Mel 8k Bri 51k Ade 1k Per 6k)
Our games were against FTA too, which always reduces STV numbers
We also beat you in STV numbers on Sunday and Monday
