And news limited will be saying "thats nice and all, but we're the only real contenders you have for this".

yes that could be true.

But what real contenders did the AFL really have..
compared to the NRL

And those other games will be broadcast by who again? Theres currently nothing on the other side of the equation.
For now .
But what were the others on the other side in the AFLOL deal .

No fucking one .
Exactly the same as the NRL at the moment .
That might change .

But. Tell me who was bidding against Fox in the AFL deal for the non FTA games .

I'll wait .

Lol
This is why fumblers get laughed at .

The problem with fox is pay up V loss of subscription & ad revenue .
Plus we have 2 yrs on our side in a rapidly changing media landscape .

Wookie keeps saying that there was bidders for the Pay TV component for the AFL but fails to mention who they are...................... :?>

Go on wookie name these magical bidders for the Pay TV side of the AFL deal, prove to us NRL fans that there was anymore tension then what the NRL has atm.

More spin from the fumblers to try and work down the NRL TV deal.

The AFL worked with all available contenders to get the result it wanted - its why all parties were at the press conference. The NRl did a deal with Nine without giving a damn about the rest of its broadcasters contenders.

This Has been told as untrue, as there were conversations between the NRL and news limited.

NRL documented more than 35 meetings and calls they had with Fox and News .. Sounds like consultation to me

NEWS LIMITED JUST LOVE A BIFF WITH THE NRL
