the fact remains that A player was trafficking horse steroids to other players who were using and thus the statement is not a lie. 2nd name a court of appeal (which is not a de novo hearing) that can rehear the evidence in the case - so it would appear they have a good ground to appeal. If they been denied natural justice then they have every right to appeal. That's what a court of law is stupid! If the appeal was fundamentally flawed the the original finding stands and yes they do clear their name - your ignorance is really astounding.

The players are next in the firing line.
We could be witnessing the largest fall from grace for a single sporting club in the history of Australian sports here folks. Stay tuned!
What Cronulla is getting off Scott free are they - just because the NRL have totally and incompetently handled the whole issue doesn't mean there fall won't be as if not substantial worse! Why don't you include them in this statement KE not showing your bias are you?
Anyone remember swines hanging this rotten turd in this thread?
And as time passes we now see Cronulla, innocent and in the top four. While essendon lie at the bottom of the AFL comp and have become the greatest shame job in Australian sporting history.
I'm kinda like Cronulla. Swines is kinda like essendon.

Essendon serving their time, but are re-signing all their banned players one by one. Have some fantastic talent coming through so next year looks bright.
On this year, theyve won one game, been soundly beaten in a few, yet have still averaged nearly 50k home games. Just goes to show the following the AFL has

This thread should be made a classic & bumped at every opportunity .
It highlights the weird world some fumblers live in .
The delusions ...the lying to try to make Out Cronulla was as bad .
Lol

Yeah and you have your head in the sand to think that somehow what happened with RL and Cronulla was anything but just as bad as Essendon! You really will call black white if it suits you. It's like arguing with a 2 yr old!
In a thread full of rampant fumble stupidity .
This is still one of my faves
So the Sharks were as bad as essingbong .
Which club had far more players involved .
Which club had the drug program run for far far longer
Which club tried everything possible to stall/ stop & suppress info .
Which club had 34 players outed for 2 years ..
Not CRONULLA
Lol
Yeh I could see how they're nearly identical
If I had my head firmly wedged up my arse
As Ke said
The Sharks are in a far better place now than essingbong .
In fact they will probably be top of the table by the end of this round .
That's what happens when you put your hand up & accept you fucked up .
Honesty ....essingdrug wouldn't know what the word meant

Cronulla players admitted taking multiple banned substances. Cronulla players never checked with their club staff or doctor. Cronulla players were given a lighter sentence because they took a deal.
Essendon players checked with their club officials to ensure they were being given compliant substances. They were only banned for 2 years because they wouldnt take a deal. They were only charged with taking one banned substance
Who is worse?

You seem to be claiming they didnt know they were given banned substances. Wouldnt that mean they werent as bad as the Cronulla players?

They were banned for using one substance. Cronulla players confessed to using multiple banned drugs including one given to horses

The essendopers were systemically using the hard stuff for yonkers. And they got punished as they should have been. The very few Cronulla weren't innocent and justice was brought to them as it should have been.
One club have disgraced emselves and it aint Cronulla bro. Open dem eyes
