It's the fact you mentioned the mess that is the AFLW at all. You can't give any other sport even it's 15 minutes of fame moment. You have to put something fumbling into the narrative. You are a miserable hopelessly biased buffoon.
twitter was full of soccer fans instantly mentioning the "paid" nature of the crowd and comparing it to the AFLW, and not just reveling in their own success.
The AFL doesnt give a shit about other codes, but other codes and their followers continually bring the AFL up. Why the fuck would this forum be any different?
So once again my friend Wookie you seem to speak for fumblehouse. Are you Silly Gilly?? In my educated reasoning I would say the AFL spend massive amounts of their time planning and plotting against other sports. Any intelligent poster would agree. Your post is merely an opinion my friend - and I respectfully believe you're wrong, wrong, wrong.
Other than that I am not a soccer supporter usually but I appreciate the magnificent efforts of the Matilda's. Well done girls!!!! Well played, skilful, free flowing and great to watch.

Also the atmosphere. It's electric even through the to. Rl can only dream of such a finals crowd.... and the game just doesn't lend itself to such atmosphere given it is so slow between tries.

That's like me comparing a grand final to a final. That's a super marquee event. Plus your comparing two different levels. One is rep footy and a massive marque even ... one is a final involving two suburban teams. Sure it's the highest level of AFL but it's still a club based conetetion being compared to a 3 game state based event.
Go stick to working out how people metres and business loans work pussy.

Why? Size wise its not even in the top 4 finals (non grand finals) in the last 10 years. Historically its not even in the top 10 preliminary final crowds.
has there ever been a crowd that size for prelim against an interstate side?

id suggest no. from memory the largest crowd against an interstate side was Essendon vs WEC or Hawthorn vs Swans mid 70s
