AFL expanding and taking short term loses in a gws game at home in non heartland areas... nrl afraid to expand into areas where no rl interest ... as gws have done. Sure we have Melbourne but how long ago was that. It's a win for gws to get near on 15 thousand when you consider a nrl final last week in Sydney got this.

week one of the finals the NRL in Sydney had a crowd of 15k for two Sydney clubs. How then can you criticise the GWS crowd?
