Essendon finished a tumultuous pre-season cup campaign in style, hammering Greater Western Sydney on Friday by 91 points in Canberra.
The Bombers were simply too good for the Giants, winning 1.16.14 (119) to 0.4.4 (28) and lifting their cup campaign to two wins from four matches.

That is the thing people on this site do not seam to understand........RL and Soccer are two completely different sports that have co existed in western sydney since forever, RL and many of its fans actually will follow the wanderers, i have several mates that are eels fans going to these games.
The AFL and FFA are in direct competition in western sydney, RL has its place and will always coexist with Soccer.

WSW played 3 games and already have a smaller average than the eels who came last and they have already got a lower crowd than what Parra did this year which happened to be against the storm on a Monday night while having a foot across our throats in last place. WSW have already played their biggest rival, the crowds will be all down from here.
I expect their average to be around 9k.
