Thursday night games to return in 2018 despite underwhelming crowd figures in Sydney
THE NRL says it will press on with Thursday night football next year despite statistics that show resistance to the timeslot to an extent that 12 matches played in Sydney averaged just 9796 spectators a match.
Four matches in Brisbane on Thursday nights, one in Melbourne and one in Townsville totalled 144,826 of the 262,383 spectators who watched the 18 Thursday night games live.
Those six matches outside NSW were the only six occasions when more than 15,000 went to watch a game on a made-for TV Thursday night.

Flicking over to the rl prior to each game start and felt a little embarrassed for them ... seemed pretty sparce the crowd then you look at the last two nights of finals for the AFL and jam packed full of atmosphere that permeates through the tv.

LIC you trying to go to the bombers game? They the surprise entry into this years final series.
He could get a ticket in the disabled section .
Essingbong has form in that area .
Pretending to be disabled
Although you wouldn't think anyone would question his disability after talking to him for 30 seconds
I can picture it now, bombers fans and their caretakers filling the stadium.

aflcrap, this one comes from rothfield...see tweet above
Slothfield
.
Lol
He is a joke ..a drunken joke who makes a living out of putting shit on Rl
Reliable as the missing link .
Lol has been said on here many times ..when pics of GWS were shown with the near empty ground supposedly 1/3 full & the crowd number questioned ..you can't tell a crowd by still pics
It doesnt show the whole picture .blah blah
Yet now it apparently can ...cause it's a RL game .
Is the number questionable
I'd say yes
But till someone shows that it was not the actual figure then that's all we have .

The nrl do have a history of fudging though and of counting ground staff and others working there

FFS
Another tool still beating this drum
I answered you on this previously but like most fumblers on here you
Ignore that & repeat the same shit
Yes pre ARLC there were instances of crowd fudging
I haven't denied that .
I've asked you & your mentally challenged mate to show some proof of fudging since Dave Smith addressed the issue .
Non has been forthcoming
Yet the same shit gets repeated ...
Clogging up thread after thread .
If you have some proof please post it .

I only use official figures for footyindustry stuff - it doesnt mean you cant query the figures.
And there was imagery from all 4 sides of the ground last night.
Yeh
& pics have been posted of the whole ground at AFL games
With laughable crowd numbers released
Yet we are told.
Oh pics don't show the whole picture
Or these plenty undercover you don't see ...or some shit like that .
We get it
Excuse is valid in AFL
RL ..no.
Lol

There's been plenty of GWS crowd pics posted
Pics from both sides of the ground to give a whole pic of the crowd .
