i wasn't aware the NRLOL was doing double headers still, so its difficult to really say the crowds are up or down then over all
You're not aware of much at all. I reposted wookies numbers in another thread .
You said nope
Crowds aren't up they're down
You were wrong again .
bahahaha so after saying youll go with wookies stats! then say you dont trust them now you do :(/
then try and beat your chest that they are up

the usual crap from you! being selective so it suits your argument
your full of shit & so desperate :thumbleft:
Show me where I said I don't trust wookies numbers
I said I don't trust AFL tables as it is run by an AFL fan .

Off ya go

Problem is the slots they added have given nothing to the attendances, and thus nothing to the membership drive.
Thursday and Friday evenings havent been crowd winners anywhere except Queensland.

You've got night games in freezing places like canberra or in places where there's a distinct lack of cover and amenties - your local and suburban grounds for example - and too many games at massive stadiums.

Thu N, Fri N matches need to be in proper stadiums - Suncorp/Aami park/the SFS/new Parra/Robina/new townsville with proper cover and modern amenities - easily done when new parra and townsville come on line. Or games in Perth which fit the timing better. Sprinkle in a game or two in Perth and Adelaide.

Day games need to go out to the suburban/regional NSW grounds and Canberra.
agree with all the above

Scheduling is a huge issue the NRL cannot seem to get right.

WOOK would you like to come on board the NRL commission...
things might get done.

at least half of the games are played in proper stadiums, Stadium Aust, Allianz stadium, Suncorp stadium, AAMI park, Cbus stadium

simple! how long can you keep beating a dead horse for :-({|=

weather is a factor if you are playing in uncovered "stadiums".

And lets be clear, the average crowd isnt bad. Its AFL crowds that are the outlier here.
Exactly Wookie. As I have pointed out repeatedly: by world standards the NRL crowd average is very good. The AFL crowd average is worlds best per head of population, by a long margin. Congratulations fumblers.

Paris has a population of 12 million. It has 3 professional 'football' sporting clubs. Two play Top 14 Rugby and this years averages for both were around 9k per game. The one and only soccer team in Paris averages just over 40k. If they all play on the same weekend that's 58k people watching a 'football' code in a city of 12 million. Fumblers - please troll their sites and tell them how hopeless they are.

Some cities/cultures/people just don't attend sport because they have other pursuits. It's not wrong to do that, it's not bad. Melbourne has the best sports attendance, per head, for everything - horse racing, golf, tennis, swimming, football code. You could actually base an argument around 'what is wrong with Melbourne' re their obsession with sport. I won't do that.

Thank you and good night!!!

I'm pointing out the games that are regularly played in stadiums not the club grounds.
