Always wondered why 7plus BVOD viewer numbers seemed so low compared to 9now. Could this deal see that change with new markets now opened up? Will AFL BVOD number rise to similar numbers for NRL on 9Now?
“The completion of this sale to SWM will result in SCA being fully divested of all television assets, which aligns with its All About Audio strategy,” the release stated.
Seven pointed out that the licensed regions currently take the Seven Network signal under affiliate deals.
“The acquisition largely completes SWM’s national broadcast network and opens new markets to Seven where the powerful offering of digital television – both live and VOD – on 7plus complements the Seven broadcast signal,” the Seven release stated.

time will certaintly tell... but yes there is currently a big gap in BVOD between the networks

Wowsers!!! That is a seriously good number for RL. This year could be the greatest flogging the fumbling game has ever had. And they've had some big'uns in the past.

The AFL continues to absolutely smash the NRL in reach. Can’t think of a time the NRL has ever beaten the AFL in reach tv numbers head to head?
