If you bothered to look as sponsor ship dollars even with gws and the rest of the nrlol clubs!
You’ll understand why AFL fans laugh how pathetic the nrlol teams are and how ignorant and stupid thenleague fans are when they continue to attempt to sink the boot in to a new AFL expansion side

Gws actually lose money on membership? What?
https://www.theage.com.au/sport/AFL/syd ... 52d10.html
GWS's 2018 annual report shows the club's membership-related expenses ($2,183,385) actually exceeded revenue from membership and merchandise ($1,970,350). No other AFL club loses money in that department

Gold Coast Suns’ long list of requests for assistance from the AFL Commission revealed
Gold Coast CEO Mark Evans and chairman Tony Cochrane will request a vast array of assistance measures when they meet with the AFL Commission on Tuesday.
an increased salary cap, draft allowances and an acknowledgment that any measures would be temporary are likely to be at the top of the agenda.

The question is, given the disadvantage expansion clubs have... how do you balance that out? To do nothing compromises the competition in the opposite direction with clubs in traditional areas having the balance in their favour.
