Jesus Fred I'm sure you've asked this same question each year .
It was in the media about 2 years ago that ON THE GC
Not elsewhere
ON THE GC the TItans had on average 80k more viewers than the Suns each game
Lol due to the titans playing. Ore prime time games! A lot of the Suns games along will the lions games are shown ontv along with other games going. Not in isolation and nationality like the nrlol games

Jesus you don't have a fucking clue do you
You can't understand plain simple ENGLISH
Firstly you say due to the Titans playing .
WTF ..we are comparing the TITANS V THUNS on the GC .
Are we supposed to compare the Melb Storm v thuns ...you fucking brain dead flog .
& no the Titans rarely get prime time games ..so that's another load of bullshit .
Then you talk nationally for NRL games
The 80 k better ratings are just for Titans v thuns on THE GC .
Not nationally .
Nationally wasn't mentioned ..except by the voices in your head .
Get off the metho
You reply to posts with inane nonsense that has nothing to do with what is being discussed .

Does anyone know the averages of the two team for home games to date. Will be interesting to see what the titans need to win.

I would say Suns just in front>> + 2k crowd AVG above titans
tv ratings however it is a killing to the Titans.
Last Game saw 210k watch titans on FOX AND FTA QLD (excluding regionals)
where as SUNS were seen 21k on FOX AND FTA QLD (excluding regionals)

Well we are just concerned with home crowds .
Ratings I think reflect the popularity of rl on Gold Coast rather than the titans per se.

I got the suns at 13663 for the year home average.
The titans I have at 13943 but that is after 11 games so unsure if that is the total games thus far. If this figure is correct for titans they will need, I believe, 10600 next game at home to pip the suns.

is that right,
the last 4 suns games have drawn pretty well too.
I really think the Titans will struggle to get that 10k this Saturday..

the Titans play 12 Home games a year
the Suns play 11 Home games a year
did the suns beat the Brisbane Lions AVG ?

Not sure but doubt it. Lions, with all their issues still draw a reasonable crowd I think although I believe there was a few low crowds this year. Not in the league of a lot of Sydney nrl clubs but low.
Will be interesting to see if the titans get the 10600.

Yes Lions seem to draw around a 15k avg
which is pretty good, for where they have been for many years.
some of the lowest recorded crowds in NRL this year have been all at Olympic Park..

Gary Ablett >> a success or a disaster at the suns in your opinion >>
Hayne so far for the Titans has been a huge DISASTER>
they lost there multi million dollar sponsor who pulled out this year..
so many things have gone wrong since Hayne entered the arena.

I think success for main part. They should have let him go when he said he wanted out. The club needs to grow without him... to grow up I would say. He is not passionate about the club. His heart isn't there and this has bled down through the others. This is what the suns lack... a passion, a culture ... something gws have been able to do. They need a new coach that has everything riding on it and with lynch and may and some of the new kids they can build this.

Hard to tell with Ablett as he still played well & still seems pretty passionate on field but has been often injured the last few seasons & a lot of speculation seems to be happening when he is not playing.
The Suns need a total culture change, a proven coach like Thompson, Clarkson or Roos, not a fresh face promising instant success

Wasn't hayne more of a case recruited by the nrlol for the titans for a draw card?
He has always struck me more of an individual, all about him type personality, something that won't work in most team environments
