as far as I am aware being a NRL member
they do not sell Away memberships

having raised that point, the NRL should follow the AFL lead on this.

it is obvious it would increase crowd figures..

At this rate another 2 to 3 games & the nrlol may have passed the Swans crowd for the weekend
another flogging in the ratings again for the NRLOL

while not close to packed, the GWS crowd today would be all local supporters, and is clearly larger than previous seasons. Something is gradually building

not close to packed...yeah not even half full. On a beautiful day, in the sun and all.
Pretty poor really for a team that was one game away from a GF last year & is in contention this year .
( & before you lot get all upset ....us RL players are not the ones who bang on about crowds continiuosly)

Also
They had a massive promotion today re multi-cultural round and took over Cathy Freeman Park at Homebush with entertainment, food stalls, music etc.
They also let all kids in free. Advertised heavily all week on Triple M.
All the enticements in the world and still not close to half full

Right on cue .

Once again
WE ARE NOT THE ONES who rant crowds crowds crowds .
Yet when you get ordinary crowds with a team that has been set up for success
Has been promoted as the multicultural blah blah blah of the west .
Has been talked up continiuosly ...you start making excuses .

When we Rl fans boast about crowds then come see us otherwise wake up to the possibility that a lot of the stuff you read about the Giants is propaganda .

you do only when it suits your argument boost about crowds!

for a NRLOL fan to even comment about crowds it even more funny!
given the situation of GWS they are doing fine! its great they are getting crowds that are similar, if not better than the NRLOL teams out in Western Sydney

By AFL standards it's a poor crowd, but for a new second club in an expansion city with only one season of finals ever, it's understandable. Even more so given Sydney's indifference to attending sport. My original comment was about their crowd growth. In previous years they were getting smaller crowds with significant away team attendance. Now theyre getting over 10k with few if any away supporters.

tell me more - your code averages 28% of capacity across all sydney venues, and only 18% of capacity at ANZ Stadium this season. But yeah the Giants are shit.

Do we boast about crowds
When you answer that you might understand the context of my post .

Lol
You had a shot at them in your post ..& rightly so
I do the same & you get upset .

Fumblers
Always good for the lols
