What a pathetic turnout for the thicknecks over the weekend. 6k in Perth, what an embarrassment for a so called national competition. Another successful business decision by the NRL.

How the hell can you defend that regardless if it was raining or not 6k for premiership season match lol in supposedly a city with strong followers for league.

Then again, almost beat the Sydney NRL average

Still, West Aussies love their sport. To be honest, unless it was raining faeces, 6k is an embarrassment...

I can only hope That when scheduling returns to the NRL from 2018

If they are Smart they should be able to increase crowds

just by scheduling a fair few games each week that benefit crowds not the networks.

Yeah there was a fair bit of consistent rain this afternoon and into the night. Wasn't terentual .. was heavy and consistent. Been in worse ... suns v swans I think it was last year ... now that was torrential rain.

Lol not quite same conditions
The aflol game started DRY.
It rained during the game

The NRL game ..was raining/pouring at least an hour before kickoff .

That deters people from actually arriving at the game soaked .
& then sitting there wet for a few hrs

There's always an excuse lol.

It was obvious there were going to be storms before the suns game. If rain was the deterrent then it was there. Maybe that's why the suns game was not as high as I thought it would be.

With Essendon next week to likely be a big crowd drawer it will be interesting to see who gets the bigger average crowd.

Every other code / sport in Australia

When you get big numbers to a game

You usually expect good national tv figures
For the game..

With soccer it is just not the case..
Being it the A league
Or these recently friendly matches..

Over 80k at both games
And luck to hit 200k on FTA

Socceroos are the only ones to hit big numbers

So you can't refute my points
Lol thought so

So I'll explain again
There's a massive difference in arriving at a game nice & dry & being able to get undercover when it does rain
& deciding to go to a game in the pouring rain & sit there soaked all through it .

Even a moron could understand that . Apparently you can't .
The conditions were NOT the same as you claimed .
Last time the conditions were the same ...nice sunny arvo & both teams played the Titans won the crowd contest easily .

And the other had a shower half way through
