I THInk you are confusing my comment on the titans crowd? But thank you for commenting on me again

.
I think my comment re crowds and the nrl still stands. Any chance of making some constructive on that rather than me .... I get the whole obsession thing but at least try and address the points raised.
I am flattered though must admit. xxxxx

Freddy, having a conversation with you is like having a conversation with a goldfish. Every 90 seconds you forget everything that has been said and go back to the start again.
For the sake of posterity here I go again: NRL crowds average around 16,000 per game and have done so for years. French and Pommy Rugby both average around 13,000. NRL has the biggest crowds in either RL or RU domestic comps world wide.
French and particularly Italian soccer are world juggernauts. They average about 20 to 21,000 per game. They draw on populations massively bigger than Australia. In world wide comparisons NRL crowds are very good. Could they, should they, be better?? Sure - that's something to work on.
Fumbleball gets the biggest crowds world wide per head of population. Congratulations. It would need a psychiatrist to work out this obsession. I suspect it has something to do with living in Bleakbourne and the desert states.
So there ya have it Goldy. I have explained this to you repeatedly on this site yet you go back to the start again and again and again. If you once again go around in circles I will be referring you back to this post.
Good luck and god speed.

You regularly fail to address posts . Yes I remember that post but it hardly explains the low attendances of rl in a country that has a culture of attending events. In Sydney the swans get great crowds so not just Melbourne. Also soo gets very good crowds so rl people will go to a game where the product is sufficient.
You regularly make some inane comment about the person posting dismissing what was said ... you deflect and dance around. Nrl crowds are appalling in SYDNEY. Brisbane tend to get good crowds and would dare say Melbourne storm do as we when put in context of it being AFL dominated. I know we could say 1 or 2 team towns etc but that hardly accounts where in Sydney it is the dominant code with massive population where people have grown up on the game.
Now I have you on topic try and stick to it. XXXXXXX

I'm not sure the stadium money the Gov't has set aside is going to be spent in the right way. Homebush is a soulless hole and is a shocker to get in and out of for normal club games. They should leave it as it is and use it for GF, SOO and the odd Easter or big drawing game. And the SFS just needs a minor upgrade, it's fine for the Roosters, Waratahs and SFC.
Then use the money for 4 or 5 suburban ground upgrades. Make them all seater undercover grounds with 25,000 capacity. And make sure they upgrade the grounds that are near public transport and easily accessible.
As for this years crowds: we've now had 6 or 7 weeks of torrential rain on weekends including 5 in a row at the start of the season. Without that I'm sure the crowds would be up on the corresponding time last year. If we get reasonable weather for the rest of the year I'm sure the numbers will be better than last year.

It is a very good Point,
would love to see a
25k Brooky
30k Belmore
30k Kogarah
32k Parra (already happening)
Campbeltown 35k
The way Macthur population is going (it is a given for the tigers to move too) 500k
500k expected by 2030
Shark park 25k
Panthers 28k
you would probe be looking at around 100 mill for each.
The Problem with all burbs grounds is Majority in attendance 70% are standing
which is all great, but when the conditions turn
It ends up in a disaster of a crowd..
The Only positive I see in a new OLYMPIC PK
is that it will have a ROOF which is great like ETHIAD in Melbourne
no matter what the weather.. can always gurantee a good game.
and the reduce in capacity to 70k and seating being a lot a lot closer...
