Seems to be a half decent crowd in the early game for the nrl. STI v CRO. Is that at a smaller stadium ? If so that may be the way to go for the nrl. There seems to be some sense of atmosphere tonight and creates a good look for the game on tv. A fuller stadium also makes for a good atmosphere when you're there. Nothing worse than say ANZ looking like 3 men and their dog are there ... same crowd maybe but seems so empty.

TICKET UPDATE: All tickets for tonight's match including standing room, are now exhausted. No tickets remaining for #DreamtimeAtTheG

Basically a sellout. The final figure will depend on how many MCC and AFL members turn out

That's what happens when you play a global sport where there are much bigger fish in the food chain. Liverpool could purchase the NRL and turn it into a burger franchise if they wanted to.

Really? Again is this a concern for the nrl ? I think they have conceded that the culture of rl is that crowds are generally going to be low. As long as ratings are okay and streaming they may be happy ... or have to be happy.
