Great game. The crowd plays such an important role in adding atmosphere to a game. You see it in big games like grand finals and soo etc. This is where the nrl need to work on improving as if they can get crowds to come and experience that atmosphere they will come back agsin and agsin and it snowballs.
No doubt anyone new to the game will be a convert if they were at the ground tonight.

Two 80000 plus games in one round for the AFL. Not too bad.

391,980 fans attended round five, the second most in the game’s history.
Number 1 round was only a few rounds ago. Imagine when the new stadium is ready in Perth next year

100024 for mcg? Whilst I am sure that is the offical figure I don't know where'd they would fit them in? Standing room I am assuming is the variable.

oh sorry crapper, I was referring to the capacity of MCG. Not sure if it would ever get that many in its current configuration...it would be a tight squeeze in standing room me thinks.

Last years Rugby league ANZAC Test pulled 27,724 to Hunter Stadium. 2017 ANZAC test crowd is the lowest since 1997 with 23,829 at the SFS
The RL fans on here rave about their international competitions. Shame few fans in Australia seem to care

Not too bad a crowd here tonight. Not a bad game thus far either.
