Yet weve had 16 games rating over 1 million to your 9, which includes your SOO and rep games. Plus we lead the one v one game comparison 13 v 4.

When are you guys going to realise the total ratings are a meaningless comparison?
Your So full of it NlolRL,

You only count the games that best suit your agenda.

1.Season opener 1140
2. Rd2 1200
3. Rd3 1180
4. Rd4 1000
5. Rd5 1100
6 R7 1000
7 Rd7 1030
8 Anzac day 1010
9 Test 1.600 (3rd highest match this year.)
10. Rd 9 1030
11. Origin 1 3500 (highest rating match this year)
12. Rd 14 1040
13. Origin 2 3480 (2nd highest match this year)

ive got some slightly different figures.
Round 4 didnt hit a million, just under - 995,000 (445k metro, 293k reg, 241k fox, 16k nZ)
Round 7 didnt hit a million, just under - 993,000 (505k metro, 213k reg, 267 fox, 16k NZ)

I make it 15-11 above a million, top 3 NRL (and 4 of the top 10). 6 out of the top 10 AFL. 8 of the top 20 NRL, 12 of the top 20 AFL. 3/3 of the last 6.
R4 979 without NZ

Rd 7 977k without NZ

I didn't think 5 or 8k mattered too much considering thay Leeroy showed figures that NZ numbers had increased.

so some of your games somehow ended up on a perfect number of 1000 or 1010 etc

You're behind even with SOO and test included. This doesnt even count our massive 13 v 4 lead in 1 v 1

Yeah Yeah Yeah....but Wookie has kobwashed your 1 v 1 comparison as meaningless in the overall context. So please move on. Surely you're sick of that jungle food. This war is like last years RL ratings victory - over!!!! Move on to isolation please - I need another fumble theory to demolish!!

Its a measure of popularity of this one game per week champ.
which is the only direct apples v apples comparison we have

judging by these figures.

you would say an Overall figure is a win to NRL

with SOO3 to come
plus 5 extra FTA games on Saturday last 5 rounds.

Again... nz figure are okay if wanting to argue popularity across both countries. If you are using ratings as 1 measure of popularity or even which code is watched more in Australia ...then you obviously can only use Australian figures.

Again.......RL has a team in NZ. We are comparing ratings in the home markets of the clubs of each comp. Obviously you must use NZ ratings. And around the goldfish bowl we go again!!!!

its still not apples v apples. You think the audience on a friday for the NRL isnt affected by showing two games?
can you suggest a closer apples v apples comparison?

There is no apples v apples match comparison when it comes to the ratings measurements. Each code has its own differences in broadcasts, slots, markets, match length.

best comparisons are probably the Thurs night slots - 1 match nationally v 1 match nationally. No second match for the NRL. The AFL has several of these and the NRL has a lot.
Yeah Thursday is probably pretty close however it's a new concept for the AFL really, so it may be better in a few years. I agree we have an advantage with only one game on FN, however our broadcast is over 3 hours which is a disadvantage too
