Would they rather 30000 attend at say 10 or 15 dollars a ticket or continuing averaging around 16000 at current prices?
currently Rugby League tickets are way to expensive..
and the NRL and Clubs should look into this.
You pay $35.00 to "STAND" on the Hill
yes no seating crappy conditions,
$35.00 ( paid it the other day attending at brookie oval)
btw PARRA GAME WAS RAINING a few hours prior to game.
in saying, the crowd prob in good conditions would of been around 14k.

lol, i highky doubt that $35 to stand on a hill!
have a look at the NRLOL web site for tickets for games, most games in NSW general admin starts at $10 to $12 dollars & while a game in Canberrs starts at around $15 odd dollars.
oh please get bent with your wether claims! AFL fans are not allowed to use it, so the same goes for the NRLOL fans

i quotes starting prices from several NRLOL games in NSW and Canberra, i doubt brooke vale will be higher. they charge more money to stand on the hill, than for a seat
when ever an AFL fan usues the wet weather excuse its meet with you flogs claiming its a but but excuse, then when you nrlol fans use it, we are meant to accept it!

Will be interesting to see tonight who gets the bigger crowd with local derbies for the BBL and A-League in Sydney played next door to each other at the SCG and Allianz. TV ratings wise the BBL will annihilate the Soccer. That's a given.

40k for the real sydney derby at the sfs. so it looks like the a-league wins again!
funny with all the advertising around sydney for the bbl version of the sydney derby in the newspapers, on the news, on the streets etc..... it still got out attended by the a-league

...bit suspicious of some fudging as well because i saw heaps of empty seats at the scg on the highlights
was having a chat at halftime in the smokers with a couple guys in bbl merch that were at the a-league match because they were stadium members(sixers fans that left early because their team were getting smashed) and they were mind blown when it came to the atmosphere at the a-league(ferocious, mind boggling, electric) vs the bbl (circus, childrens program, mexican waves). i think i may have converted them haha

Be interesting this season with the closure of parra how are WSW crowds compared with the past?
Parra will have a pretty big jump you would think, only 1 game in Darwin capacity around 10k iirc. Games in the past that should have been at Anz will finally be played. I can see a few 40k games in the making. Depends on form, membership at 15244 atm so not bad.

BTW, do the eels get to count anz games this season as every other year the soccer nuts go but but but?

again? last time i looked at the stats the BBL was far ahead, even in most games!

2 years on and you're still peddling this myth.
it doesn't apply anymore due to the fact that wanderers play their derby matches at anz, but it made sense before because they were restricted to a 20k capacity stadium...when as you saw, they could draw into the 60k if they weren't limited to parra stadium...unlike the eels.
this year is fair game though
i think even wsw fans will admit that they've fallen off the cliff this year, their attendances are horrible and they seem to use the reasoning/excuse that its because theyre playing at the showground which is an awful venue for rectangle sports but the funny thing is that they VOTED to use that venue over campbelltown and penrith....guess you have to b careful what you wish for
