games of football .... d head
include them only

our 2011 figure was 129 Million
SOO increased by 1.5 Million on last year

we win ..... AGAIN

when will you lot ever ... catch us
According to who?

We try to compare the leagues of NRL and AFL but when you lose you claim all other forms of RL should also be included.

Well the figures exclude the AFLs preseason cup and the numerous AFL game replays on foxtel. Arent they games?

This then becomes a "our sport v your sport" comparison. Therefore we should be allowed to include the brownlow and the many many sports shows dedicated to AFL.

So, either league v league or everything v everything.

Which one? We win both!

when ever theres been an article about ratings victories between the codes .. the article always refers to Rugby League as winning
not the NRL

its just ... same ol.. same ol

RL ... King
yeah, and the articles come from RL circles, not independent.

Amazing how todays independent report says different.

AFL ahead in everything =D>
King-Eliagh: ...I believe [RL] is popular in all the other states and territories, bar tasmania.

However, it is another test considered more accurate - which counts a viewer only once throughout the season - that shows the gap between AFL and NRL might not be as big as first thought: the gap between the two codes was only 128,000 viewers in favour of the AFL.
This is from the same article. Perhaps you got the 129 million number from this other test.

Dave, you keep saying 'we win', but you've yet to provide a single source that clearly says nRL (or Rugby League) beat the AFL in 2012. The AFL haven't trumpeted anything yet because they wait 'till the release of their annual report next year. Unlike the nRL who released their state of the game report BEFORE THEIR FINALS SERIES HAD EVEN BEGUN, knowing full well that they'd get smashed in the ratings during September.

In its first year of decent fox coverage and all games live against the gate, AFL pay ratings increased 101%. That's an obviously unsustainable level of growth, but you would still expect the ratings to continue to grow over the next 4 years. By the time the new broadcast rights are being negotiated the AFL could very well be the biggest jewel in Fox Sports' crown.

Look at the top 5 pay tv shows for 2012 Dave, I think you'll be surprised how many are AFL programs.

hmmm, according to the independant article today the AFL won quite easily. =D> =D>

So as we constantly told you guys during the year, despite your regional advantage, the AFL was winning week in week out.

oh, ok then. :P

The figures exclude the AFL preseason cup. Total ratings for that were 5M. Therefore the AFL is only 1M behind. Add the Brownlow medal for 1.9M and the two Legends games for 1.2M.

Hmmmm then the AFL are 3M ahead. And this excludes the multiple foxfooty replays every day of the week, and all the other Fox footy, ch7,9 and 10 programs.

AFL wins again :\: :\: :\:
