Read his post fwit.
The AFL got more in the Australian deals showing its more valuable to the Australian networks, backing up my claim the AFL would get more because it goes for longer

In case you havent noticed BSMan you sell an exta 1 and a bit matches on FTA and 3 extra matches on Fox each round to get about the same money. Not only that but you are currently benefitting from Fox's failed attempt to boost take up. What do you think the result will be in 4 years time?

My comparison was Australia's deals for AFL and NRL, not australa v Australasia. We got more just like I said... =D>

We also sell 5-6 game times per weekend because our games are split. The NRL actually sell more individual game times.
The dollars per minute argument is hilarious. If it were that simple why not sell all games to FTA and foxtel for a cool 3 billion?
The fact is if the NRL have have sold an additional game to FTa they would have got less from foxtel. They maxed out and still came up short.

I think you will find, if you care to do a little research, that if it was simply a matter of money the NRL could have got quiet a bit more from C. 10.

So Pies you admit that coverage is maxed, Teams is maxed out and loosing millions on these 2 expansion teams.................were to from here Pies? Cant grow the TV deal if anything the deal will go backward after Fox have already stated that takeup for AFL Subs in AFL states has been way of and they are now at a huge loss with the AFL deal.
Pies honest Question were to from here for the AFL? 26 rounds maybe? I would love to know your view on this Pies and only you, the others are brain dead they do not matter...

How is it maxed out when they have only just begun expansion? By the time the new deal comes around the suns and giants will have quality teams in the finals. All 9 games will be competitive.
Not sure how the deal will go backwards. If anything it will go to the next level, direct payment to the AFL with their own Internet channel, like US sport is starting to do.
