Out of 326k metro 210k were in Melb .

Now how many were in the northern states .
You know where half the population of this country lives .
Where this tripe was supposedly targeting the kiddies up north .

About 20k .
Oh dear .

A comp that shrunk immensely in one season ..to exclude the northern states (lol how will they ever recover)
A comp that was pitched as high octane action .
Blah blah ..

no surprise the majority of it was in Melbourne given it started in Perth at 4pm. As for 20k in Northern states, this is what we see from the NRL regularly for AFL states.

I was on the phone with beaussie while viewing aflx. His dad long time AFL supporter, yelled out “surely there’s something on tv better than this!”

So... AFLX got a bigger crowd than the representative Rugby League game in the same city just one week earlier and AFLX achieved a Top 20 ranking in the tv ratings, helping Channel 7 take out the title of No.1 ranked tv network nationwide last night... yet here we have leaguies still trying to bag the concept that also was ranked 2nd nationally in the all important overnight tv ratings (16-39 demographics).

Oh and easily the highest rating sport on Foxtel last night... out rating Soccer, Rugby Union and Cricket. Go figure eh.
