hmmmmm
15 years & waiting
please god
please stop letting the Storm be the best on field football team in Australia [-o<

15 years of News Limited pumping millions into them. Once they sell them off, their new owners (if they even find any) won't be so generous and the Storm's inevitable slide will begin. Dirty cheats had it coming. Why do you stick up for the cheats Dave? Why?

the Swines have have been allowed to cheat the VFL cap by about 30 Million in the last 30 years by the VFL, and just because the VFL sanctioned this rort does not make it alright , it is obscene... when will someone stand up & stop this sham being prepetrated on you lot
when spewie ?
and on top of this
probably another 300 Million has been spent in Sydney in this time trying to get someone , anyone to take notice of the VFL.
yet the swines can STILL barely get 50K Sydneysiders interested enough to flick a switch on their remote to watch them
no
Sydneysiders still prefer crazy japanese chefs
wow
just wow
this says sooooooooo much about vicky kicky & how little impact it actually has

nice dribble there RD. Let me introduce some facts. The salary cap hasnt been in place for 30 years. When it was first introduced it was about 1.25 million in total so the Swans were not on an extra million. Right now they dont recieve 1 million extra so 30 million over 30 years is just totally wrong.
300 million invested in Sydney, thats I nice random number there mate. Keep using those sources.
The Swans averaged over 100K viewers in Sydney alone and probabaly an extra 50K + from regional NSW every game (not inc finals on FTA and fox) for the second half of 2012. Well over the 50K you have stated.

Been pissing rain all day here in Radelaide. AAMI stadium is a majority in-covered stadium, and yet I predict the nRL rain excuse won't be an issue **** REAL fans.

you wonder how many actually paid for their tickets. or just how many got freebies, news limited give away's, free membership when you sign up with the racv, or re new your foxtell subscription.
yep League is making big in roads to Aussie rules Territory.

great crowd considering it was a Thursday night
weather not so flash
live on TV
if it were tonight
or Sat night
or Sunday it would have been closer to 18K
same as last Thursdays game
if it were on at a normal time it was have cracked the mid 30k's , & the week befores SBW game would have sold out at the SFS
but this is the price we are paying for Ch 9 paying more money for 3 games a week of NRL,
then Ch 7 did for 4 VFL games on FTA
a few crowds considerably smaller then normal
is it worth it ?
hmmm
is it worth seeing the VFL wearing silver around its neck insted of gold like we are when it comes to the media deals ?
you bet it fucking is

11k for a GF replay is a great crowd....
Only a RL fan could say that!
Well done, 11k =D> =D> "yeah, we are pathetic"

Wouldn't be a sell out then according to parraeelsnrl at least.

Even though you can see hardly any empty seats, usually the crowd is somehow still below 45k for AAMI sell outs. Somewhere there's a missing 6,000 odd seats. Just look at the Adelaide v Sydney qualifying final. Barely a spare seat in the house yet the crowd was 44k? The $ANFL probably post a lower crowd so they can make more money off the clubs.

So let's see how many nRL excuses didn't seem to affect the crowd in Adelaide tonight:
1) Weather. Raining all day, rained during the match. Didn't matter.
2) Late start. Game started at 8:10, I left straight after the game and got home after midnight. Didn't matter.
3) Playing an interstate side. Didn't matter.
4) Stadium in an awful location, traffic to and from the game a nightmare. Didn't matter.
Why do these 'problems' only affect nRL crowds?
