Lol Melbourne had it on the main channel? Nine operating at a loss right there, should have gone the safe option and showed it on Gem whilst showing a movie like Harry Potter on the main channel which would have easily gotten an extra 100k + viewers.

? 7 fucked up with the prelim final in Sydney, they were morons for showing the number 1 sporting code in Australia on 7mate, it rated just under 150k (more than the "international game" of rl did into Melbourne on the main channel) and outrated the movie that was on 7 at 8.30 into Sydney. The AFL would have gotten around 300k for the prelim if 7 weren't fucking *******.

Even with there fudged figures how many times has the AFL got 150K this year? And a month out of season WOW!

Hopefully the AFL works around sydney's and brisbane fixtures next year, remember all sydney games and brisbane games can be shown live on the main channel on a saturday night, hopefully the AFL gives them a special fixture to benifit this, especially seeing as brisbane is on the vurge of something big and sydney are premiers.
