For a start November
Players not included in finals will not have played since late Aug or early Sept .
About 8 weeks
Then there is the RLWC held every 4 yrs in Nov
Then there is the four nations held in late Oct early Nov other years .
Only time to have it is make the byes all at once
Stand alone SOO weekend x 2
Then only one week is affected

Thanks for that. Very good points. Think we agree it needs to stand alone. Maybe shortening the season would help that.

Here at Metricon. I think it will be a record low crowd. Always looks deceptive as a lot gather under the stands in standing room but even that isn't full. It has rained all day and even the reserve grade was shorten earlier due to weather. There is a video on fox sports if anyone can be bothered. I say about 5000 and that's a stretch I think

no surprise. Suns have just given up. Theyre a complete rabble. Weather looks wet too which adds to the poor crowd

The Gold coast had 190mm rain in the 10 hours leading up to last nights GC v Swans game. If you watched the game it looked more like swimming than AFL.

geez isn't it funny how bad weather is a legit excuse for fumbles yet it's scoffed at when RL has the same problem

its an excuse for a lower crowd, not an excuse for no crowd for heartland clubs anyway
