So what are you saying? That the NRL would have rated better on Saturday Afternoon? Your a little crazy Dave.
Really NRL in Primetime........5pm start is not prime time last time a checked....
Anyhow what does it matter what time the GF is on.......People know when these 2 codes are played and would not miss it even if it were not in Primetime. People have ample time to plan and make sure they see there Fav codes........Please stop with the butthurt, i have never seen so much butthurt in my life.
You AFL fans must of thought you had it all wrapped up with 4m......

You were wrong and now you are playing the Sore losers.
4.4M champ Dont you love it when you finally include all your ratings!

nRL fans are a hypocritical bunch. They cry like little bitches when their regionals aren't added, but when we add Tasmania and regional WA (regional SA as well?) ratings all of a sudden they don't count??? nRL fans... they're a special bunch.

They havent even been included yet. They dont come out for a few weeks yet. ThinkTV showed the AFLs GF telecast rated 4.16M from metro and QLD, NNSW, SNSW and VIC markets only.
Adding the full AFL regional market (still excluding SA) will result in an easy win for the AFL.

Surely the NRL supporters wouldnt want to deprive the AFL of their full regional ratings!

People live in the country too you know!

The released "composite" market was the
available metro and regionals, excluding TAS and WA regionals. Think TV showed their figures which exclude Tasmania and WA.
The true total will be available soon and will be around 4.4m.

I think its pretty safe to assume that Think TV numbers didn't figure to heavily when the AFL release there figures.

thinkTV numbers are based on OZTAM and quoted by nrl fans ad nauseum

Shame for you lot they exclude nearly 1.3M AFL fans living in TAS and WA regionals, who even if they rate as low as the NRL in Sydney, will still rate 260K. Thankfully this is the first year that the WA regional audience has been counted. =D>

If your trying to tell me Wa previously wasnt counted youtr dreaming. 2011 , - prior to that WA were diary markets.
The AFL do not get there numbers from think TV. Thats a pretty piss weak excuse , but what else would you expect from an AFL fan.
As far as uncounted area goes there is probably, at least, X3 the amount in Regional NSW/Qld..... So live with it!

it would make no difference when its on
its one game a year
our fans would put down their gardening sheers for a few hours if it was on a saturday arvo
this suggestion that it has a huge effect is hilarious .... simply hilarious

**** you full of **** .So why did channel 9 demand the night time grand final.Just for kicks and giggles I guess. You are by far the most uninformed idiot on these pages. You are the quintessential league man.You make the rest wince.
Because advertising rates are higher.

WA regionals werent counted prior to this year.
Think TV produce numbers based on OZtam, then include regional areas of NSW VIC and QLD. They exclude Tas and WA regionals. There are regions of SA that arent even counted. Are you denying these facts?
