A poor crowd for the Titans too.
I would think both clubs are disappointed.
They played very well & sprung an upset stopping the cows from winning their 7th in a row
16,516 for the Tits , way more then the pathetic thuns
no chance of finals ,heading for their 5th loss in a row & playing an opponent based 1300kms away .. not their neighbour 80kms away like the Thuns opponent ,
again for our deluded fumblers
its not a contest , the Titans are the team on the GC by a long long way
Tits have the Warriors this weekend at home in the early Friday game & will draw another big crowd , helped ofc by a lot of kiwis attending
anyone got a white flag for the Thuns

That crowd of over 14000 was coming off two big defeats for the Sun's.
Not many thought they would be competitive against the lions, but they beat them convincingly .
Credit where credit is due please.
When they string a few wins together, not scattered wins and loses, their crowds will significantly increase.
It's all about potential and they showed that.

Respectable attendance figures indeed.
Winning teams draw good crowds and in this match-up it was the Warriors that created the interest
Some might even suggest 20000 fly in fly out kiwis.
Warriors are the form side that spectators came to see.

Titans fans were outnumbered 10 to 1 against a team from another country lol

skinnywhiteuncoball
is the only sport in Australia where the sentence
"fans from another country "
doesn't apply

A great crowd no matter where the attendees came from.

so
we had pretty much a head to head clash between the 2 GC sides yesterday ...
neither local side any chance of playing finals
a happened to watch a smidgeon of the Thuns game while filliping around on foxtel & wow
seriously
were there any Thuns fans in attendance ?
a goal was kicked .. yea.. amazing in itself .. by the Thuns &... barely a reaction by the crowd behind the posts ..they were all in Dark Blue & just sat there
crowd was 19,256 .... 15,000 from Melbourne or supporting the team from there at least
now the Tits crowd was .... 19,101
& when Penrith scored a try at one point ... yea .. there was plenty of cheering .... plenty
but
when the tits scored there while i was watching ... plenty of sky blue flags & a big big response
60/40 to the Tits
12000 of their fans
7000 there for the Penny's
battle ?
what battle ?

not part of this topic
but even more striking
was the game at homebush yesterday between the orange Tsunami and.... again idk .. some mo^ngs from Vicderpia
crowd was apparently 10K ...yea right
but whatever it was
it was fucking hilarious
90% were there for the away mob , when the midgets were raining goals , the response by the crowd in the background was gob smacking in that there was none
& by the last qtr
there was no one there
no one
try as the aflol may after 40 years
this silly little vicderpian sport still barely appeals to anyone from north of the murray & these examples just make this soooooo clear

it legit is not a battle,
say this to Fred every discussion..
Suns crowds rely heavily on big Victorian teams to increase its average year in year out.
i remember him stating the pass collingwood game which was declared a sell out
was dominated by Pies fans >>80-90% (point proven)

Titans crowds this year have been outstanding
what did the Average hit
Thuns averaged 14,124 on the GC
overall around 13,600
10 games at Carrara , one in Darwin
as discussed , fair to say never less then 50% support for the away team & sometimes up to 80%( like yesterday) when its a vicderpian team in the hunt for finals
Titans currently are at 17,310 on the GC
10 games at Robina , one at magic round in Brisbane
overall 19,953
i'd say 66/33 on average to the Titans for support
they have one home game against the Bulldogs in the final round left & it will be another litmus test
the game will be nothing more then an opportunity for both teams to end their seasons on a positive note leading into the off season
if it draws 15K or more
then the debate categorically ............ ends

I will post the averages, totals and other stuff end of season.
It is not incorrect to state the Titans comfortably won the crowds this season.
