No but but excuses from us, we don't need to ! 3.5+m on Wednesday night , mmh I cant wait. - neither can the 800 thousand Southerners who will be watching on TV or the 80+k at the game! - 5 more sleeps.

You've got a bottom team (one that the AFL would'nt give any airtime of a Friday night) , minus there best players. up against a side at the other end of the table. And they still get 900k.

NRL up 5%, so far this year. How far are the AFL down ?????
theyve been beaten for over a month straight now. Look at Brisbanes figures without the broncos playing. 123k. I wonder why they are forced to show the Broncos almost every FN? :_<>

But its funny to hear you head straight back to SOO when you NRL comp is getting repeatedly flogged week in week out

1.Our Opening match, despite being delayed in Brisbane, and in the middlle of the world cup rated 1.19m - how did your opening game go?
2. Week 2 - 1.156m and thats with no gem numbers - Cricket WC still going on.
3. 900k
4. 1.12k
5. just under 1m
6 over 1m
and so on.
repeatedly flogged
??'? :(/ :(/ :(/ how many of your matches this year have got 3.5m? even 1.8m - any got close?
Our best matches are at the back end of the season and we will smash you there also.

aaaaand back to origin we go :(/

Foxtel is a poor comparison because not everyone has foxtel, and AFL fans in 4 states dont need it to watch their team play every week. Add to that the vast majority of AFLs best games are not exclusive to foxtel

Sure youre opening round was better than the uninspiring Carlton v Richmond opener, but doesnt get close to our ANZAC day game

Your Foxtel is down , our Foxtel is up! What is your but but excuses for that one?

Weve got many many games that outrate your Anzac day match - down down down 20% on FTA how pathetic!

can you show your figures proving your foxtel claims?

Can you show an NRL game that outrates our ANZAC day game?

Around 10 on last years numbers!

You'll have to take that up with Oztam.

3. 1050 (5)
4. 862 (5)
5. 1332 (5)
6. 1156 (5)
7. 1142 (5)

10. 1120 (5)
11. 463 (2)

I would be interested to see if it is a scheduling thing. The AFL made an effort to make games more attractive for people to attend so they scheduled more games in the afternoon and less games in twilight. Therefore there would be more games overlapping than last year.

The thing about foxtel though, is it depends on subscriptions. If subsription rates drop, as they would have with the introduction of netflix, so will ratings. FTA though should stay the same because everyone has it. Most AFL fans dont need foxtel to see their team.

No Drop for the NRL - but but but. Grand Final, PTV , FTA, Anzac Day down down down but, but, but. Not a good time for your ratings to be in freefall .

1 game v 1 game. No excuses
No excuses at all.

Wait until the regionals come in, for the full figure.

You constantly say AFL have won..

without adding in regionals. :?>
