its the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW that operate the ground, not the GWS! unlike the NRLOL club grounds who operate and fudge the crowds them self

Would they not be audited? Maybe it is on tickets sold or given away regardless of turning up although i suspect it is all computerised when the ticket is scanned.

Yeah I go to about 2 or 3 Storm games a year in addition to Swans games - because there meant to represent Melb - not anymore! They might as well concede defeat and move up there full time! But obviously that's why they put the toe in the water last night!

its called perspective Mal. GWS are Sydney's second and most recent AFL side, and play an interstate team for 90% of their games. Imagine how poorly supported a second NRL team in Melbourne would be! The Storm average a pathetic 12k, a second NRL team would average far far less.

RL teams in Sydney are many years old and are in homeland territory. Their crowds should be 20-30k plus every week, especially given they play against another Sydney team for most of their games

In non traditional areas and trying to grow the game there shoukd play games at home. That is why i think the suns playing in china is stupid... I think the whole idea is stupid actually. I think the suns game in cairns is the bulldogs or richmond home game so no issue there if that it correct and have no issue with established clubs playing elsewhere.. Hawthorn and the nrl club that plays in perth. Think it is not good for storm to play home game in brisbane but okay for manly though.
