Melb will play Port at Alice Springs and will only get between 4 - 6. Country games are different because the ground won't hold that much. Not something we can criticise for.

Yet this crowd in Alice springs is far less for a PA v Melb 2015 premiership game .

Whilst I am not bashing the NRL for the crowd (it is s country match and IMO the ground would be unlikely to hold more) your continued assertion that the town of Bathurst has a population of 40k ignores the fact within an hr of Bathurst the region is the towns of Orange, Cowra, Parkes, Wellington, Dubbo and Lithgow - there's much more than just 40k people who could have access to this game, which would have taken less time to travel to than someone from Manly going to Penrith. A very poor argument even for you crapper!
