South Sydney now look certain to move to Allianz Stadium with the support of the NSW government
and share Moore Park with arch rivals, the Roosters (from 2026)
with PREMIER stating there will be no work done to ACCOR at Olympic Pk now or into the future.
This will boost SOUTHS HOME GROUND CROWD by a good margin.

im not sure how the NRL add's it in to averages or a total split..
Though the ticket for the day is generally more expensive than 1 game.
Well if you go to the nrl web site it lists the crowds. If you check in any nrl crowd stat web site. It counts the one figure for the day for each game
well it shouldn't
when you are at the game (they announce the crowd for each individual game.
how it is all collected i am pretty sure it is not 50k average per game over 8 games.
they would boost NRL average a fair amount. higher than its 20k avg
The number they record is the days total next to each game then use that to boost the averages! Lol

stadium members
full season members
their seat is reserved & they don't have to attend if they're not able to
but people who want their seat can't get access to it either
Clubs need to do more to get a bum in these seats
maybe a 10% discount on the membership if all games are attended , members then might be motivated to either attend or give their tickets to someone who can if they can't

The first Ashes series in 22 years is set to become the best attended in history,
with the second and third Tests sold out and demand for Wembley tickets at unprecedented levels.
(quite amazing the series is not till November)
Very encouraging. On track to be the best attended ashes series in the UK in history. This shows the potential for the game in the UK if it is run and administered well.
This series has been promoted and ticketed by concert promoter Simon Moran. Amongst other things he is the owner of Warrington Wolves in the Super League and the promoter of the upcoming Oasis reunion concerts.
He was sought out by none other than PVL for this job. The series was going to be in Australia before Peter The Great and Moran got together and moved it to the UK in an attempt to give the game a boost over there.
PVL and Moran are also in discussions for the NRL to take a stake in the Super League. This would mean Peter The great and the NRL would run Rugby League world wide. This would be brilliant for the International game.
A strong Europe RL and Pacific RL would mean massive games between the likes of England, France, Australia, NZ, Samoa, Tonga and Fiji. Games amongst this lot would approach SOO interest and intensity.
Once again Peter The Great has taken the game to another level. Well done PVL. Long may he reign.

it would be nice to find out the actual full capacity of the venue as 35/36k seems to be the highest listed crowds that attend the venue despite the capacity being claimed of 42k

I have done a little looking into this and from what I canfigure it is different depending on whether it is cricket or AFL - also canchange depending on parts of the ground put aside for sponsorship deals - or corporate type stuff - so the Verandah is an area that has different larger seating arrangements - like sitting in your back yard watching type thing - and they have promotions such as the pool they had a while back 9or was that Carrara?). I'll have another look.

A I says
The current capacity of The Gabba for AFL matches is approximately 37,000. This is due to temporary deck areas behind the goals reducing the overall seating capacity. The Queensland government is planning to build a new 63,000-seat stadium at Victoria Park, which will replace The Gabba after the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
