Thats the point, you dont enter the ring! You just hurl girly insults from the back row, too afraid to actually debate the points. If you want to debate then make some points for once. Youre the coward

Gee Caitlan X......man, haven't you read any of my factually correct posts. The point is you strike out any RL rating that doesn't suit your rabble ball agenda. You cherry pick figures to talk up rabble ball and talk down RL.........pretty simple really.......basically you're full of lies and obfuscation.

How is your highest rating home and away games vs our highest rating home and away games cherry picking?
Im not even talking about 1 game v 1 game. Pick any home and away game you like. Hell, even include last year if it makes you feel better

Friday night is the only AFL game per round which is shown nationally on FTA, where as every NRL FTA game is shown nationally. Therefore, the logical comparison of FTA games is Friday night.
Its like me claiming the AFL dominates Saturday night's TV ratings when the AFL have FTA games while the NRL is on fox only. You'd complain no doubt, which would be fair enough, as its a poor comparison. However by your complaint would all be spin and lies.
Lets Just say, A Broncos vs Melbourne on Thursday night. LIVE ON FTA
live in QLD live into Victoria.
and the rest of the country got to see it on FOX
it would still be a big figure, not as big as across the country figure on FTA but still big
AFL do it all the time, crows on FTA into Adelaide
West Coast on FTA into Perth..
and the people in other states can watch it on FOX if they have it.
and at the same time there got a Richmond v Swans game for the Eastern markets on FTA
and also on FOX
see there is good and bad in this.
If the NRL showed a game on FTA to QLD and VIc theyd get 450k max, including regionals.
The way the AFL schedule Saturday and Sunday sometimes benefits ratings, and sometimes it reduces it. It happened a few weeks ago when melbourne got Carlton v nobody, while Adelade played Sydney. The fox ratings for the Ad v Syd game were 3 times the Carlton game showing the majority of Australia preferred this game. The ratings would have been far better if the Ad v Syd game was shown nationally
Ok lets just say the Broncos game got 450k on FTA (now include Fox into NSW and rest of country.
the figure has just jumped massively
see this is where it advantages the AFL
ok SA and NSW got crows v swans..
Melbourne got its Melbourne game..
Well if they did not want to watch it, all they have to do is flick it over to FOX
and they can watch the other game.
as simple as that,
if the NRL did what the AFL does
our ratings would be even bigger.

The NRL did it every FN last year. So last year we didnt have a reasonable comparison. The NRL combined two FTA games on Friday, the AFL the same on Saturday and Sunday
This year we finally get to see a solitary game for both codes on FN. Why isnt that a reasonable comparison?

The nrl didn't benefit from this. It was a channel 9 ploy designed to increase maximise ratings over the prime time period. The NRL then had to show a 2 hour replay for the other half of there ratings. By showing matches into there own states the AFL pick up about ...25% + 25%. They might loose some, because there not shown into all markets, but they gain more than they lose.
There 2 completely different things.

The NRL benefited from ch9 benefiting from it!
Not sure what youre on about with the AFL. We are talking about FN where we only have a single game. We may benefit on Sat and Sun by having multiple games shown at once, but it kills the averages because each match is only available to part of the audience

They Loose 10% but they gain 25% giving an overall benefit of 15%. And I think 25% is a modest estimate. If Adelaide/Perth side is shown in there own state they increase by 40 or 50%.
And a match were you don't show your poor Rating teams (27%) is hardly a fair comparison. Even if you do win this 1 match , what about your other 8? Or don't they matter?

Sat STV #AFL #FoxFooty #AFLCrowsGiants228k
Sat STV #AFL #FoxFooty #AFLDonsTigers 163k
So a total of 391k watching the AFL on fox between 7.30pm and 10.30pm last night.
Plus about 780k watching on FTA

Sat TV #AFL night Seven 452k (Mel 311k Ade 141k) 7mate 154k (Syd 26k Bri 12k Per 116k)
Sat STV #AFL #FoxFooty #AFLCatsNorth 244k
Sat STV #AFL #FoxFooty #AFLEaglesCrows 163k
= 1013k
Add 200k for regionals, so over 1.2m watching AFL on TV last night between 7.30 and 10.30pm
