no excuse. It rated 400k in Melbourne but poorly in other states. At least I talk about it, unlike how you ignore the ratings youve lost for the last 3 weeks

On Foxtell the NRL is streaks ahead

On FTA for the last phew weeks during the SOO period it is the norm for NRL ratings to drop by about %10 no surprise here.

This is a common trend for the NRL during SOO

Whats the AFL's excuse for those pathetic Sunday fox Numbers champ?........... :_<> :_<> :_<> This should be good fellas..

you should be streaks ahead on fox given how poor your FTA deal is.

Not sure what poor Sunday ratings youre referring too. We win week in week out, despite a 3hr telecast

The NRL's hopes of landing a record new TV rights deal received a boost with ratings showing strong growth in the first half of the 2015 season.

On Thursday club powerbrokers were told at the NRL chief executives meeting that television viewership was up this year on the back of a spike in the popularity of Sunday afternoon football.

The NRL pointed to figures from OzTAM - Australia's official television audience measurement data company - that showed following 13 rounds of free to air metropolitan TV that audiences were up five per cent on the same period last year.

That included a 10 per cent bump in Sydney and 17 per cent jump in Melbourne.

Cricket world cup effected some games and the NRL still up 5% on FTA

must be playing with different oztam figures to what mediaweek release then, theres a fair bit of difference between 3% down and 5% up.

Wookie your figures have holes all over them.

Your spreadsheets are missing exactly %8 worth of ratings due to your limited access which is not your fault really.

But most of us appreciate the good work you do in this area for all codes which is lot of work. =D>

Um Its SOO time were ratings a typically down %10 which is a fact.

During 2014 #Origin affected #NRL Rounds 11-18, total FTA metro audience fell -10% compared to the rest of season avg

Love how you try and ignore the obvious.

Your the only one that crows during SOO............the only time you can really.. :_<> :_<>

there was one reason the AFL FN was down, Carlton playing in 6 of the first 9 weeks, and them being last. Absolutely stupid scheduling by the AFL.

My point aout the NRL was there increase is due to Sunday, it isnt overall. Sunday is up because of live coverage, nothing else

SOO is an increadibly week excuse for a ratings defeat. But if you insist, lets increase your ratings by 10% to 599k. You still lose by 69k

Any other excuses for losing a 1 game v 1 game comparison? :_<>

Sky Sport NZ Friday Night #NRL #NRLTigersSouths 21k.

No but but excuses from us, we don't need to ! 3.5+m on Wednesday night , mmh I cant wait. - neither can the 800 thousand Southerners who will be watching on TV or the 80+k at the game! - 5 more sleeps.

You've got a bottom team (one that the AFL would'nt give any airtime of a Friday night) , minus there best players. up against a side at the other end of the table. And they still get 900k.

NRL up 5%, so far this year. How far are the AFL down ?????
Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!
