Yeah - 25000 to 28000 - but a smaller stadium otherwise you have it half empty most of the time, looks crap on TV and Rob’s the venue of any atmosphere.
you do not have high expectations for Perth Crowd freddy
I actually have huge crowd expectations for PERTH TEAM
they will get better averages than the 27 year old Storm from YEAR 1 (if they are able to get a good stadium)

I think the initial interest will be there of course. And I do think that even though they are more mad for AFL than Victoria or South Australia for that matter - that they can hold the two in mind. Winning will be the key. I just don't think week in week out they will be getting anywhere near 40000 a game - a game here and there - maybe when Bears supporters come over for an annual organised trip - but week in week out I think they'd be doing well to get 15000 average to be honest (ongoing). first year curiosity will see some spike no doubt. If they start losing - it will be like the soccer team all over again.

i do not think they will get a 40k Average from Year one, but do recan they can hit 25k Average from Year one
i think Year 1 will be great interest.. and if they are winning team that average will go up.
if they are a losing team that average will decrease to around 20k odd.

few teams in Sydney go close to that or succeed it
Canterbury
Parra
Roosters.
off last years figures (all around the 20's )
Difference would be Perth would be a one team town in a shiny new stadium.

Yeah but the still call it rugby over there lol - but same in many other AFL states. I think an average crowd of 15000 would be a great success - ongoing. If they lose though and are like the suns in previous years it will be disasterou I feel. Have to be set up to have every chance to win early. If they win the WA public will jump on board big time - it’s like that o er there -

didn't WA tell AFL house to fuck off ?
Canberra has those oxygen thieves the grants , thats not changing
& Darwin is the size of Ballarat , but 2000kms from anywhere
like I said captain
NO viable options
Nah, they will go to 22 sides eventually….options all over.
AFL & NRL have Plenty of options.
i feel as to Huge Growth Expansions.. NRL have Bigger ones to develop (like they have States lol) like untouched.
in saying There's huge growth opportunities in both codes.
i like the idea of 22 sides 21 rounds plus finals
21 rounds with home games alternating each year and 1 rivalry round each year, 22 rounds, split bye round in the middle of the season. Rounds 11/12.

Rugby league’s bid to expand into Western Australia is on life support, with the NRL on the verge of walking away from plans to add a Bears-affiliated team in Perth.
Barring a last-minute increase in the financial package being offered by the WA government to secure a rugby league team for its state, the NRL will next week formally vote on a decision to abandon the plan to introduce a Perth-based team in the next broadcast cycle, which begins in 2028.

Wow! Can you imagine what Perth would be like without a Bum sniffing team? I think the only ones that would be upset would be the North Sydney Teddy bears fans that have been left without a team in the wilderness all these years.

you wonder how much of this is legitimate or just a beat up to draw attention to the team! PVL is a used car sales man despite for attention, makes stupid & out landish statements, to draw attention and create a us vs them rivaly all in an effort to draw attention as demonstrated by the half wits like azif and co get on social media and defend the team and the NRL
the most interesting thing of all is how ths NRL has no money to fund the reject team that
