Just seems whenever I read about NRL doing something it is compared to the AFL by NRL people. Just look at the posts here. Most negative AFL posts are brought up by NRL posters - namely you obviously lol.
    :(/ :(/ :(/
and there we have the bubble dweller .... we see **** melting down ... everywhere ....because their silly little half of one country sport is getting left further & further behind & we laugh at that

NRL the most watched sport
fumblers lose it
RL Internationals
fumblers lose it

100 other examples too

yet when we laugh , we're being negative ? 8-[

No need to get so angry Asif -

What do you mean by "lose it". -= all I hear is from NRL folk stating the someone is having a meltdown - I don't record anyone losing over internationals. SoO, Origin?? I think any comment on it is labeled "meltdown". Maybe it is the little brother thing witha chip on the NRL shoulder re : AFL being sthe big brother type thing - and I get that - Victorians have had it with South and West Aussies for ages - "you think you're better than me" type thing.

I could go back to the posts here and show you them but i couldn't be bothered really - next time I see it however I will point it out. I will also point out when an NRL article is commentary about something NRL does not equate to a meltdown. In fact, I was quite supportive of the Las Vegas thing - thought it was great - sure the rating were not so great in the US - but IU think it was a huge success - but me stating a fact re: rating is not having a meltdown - and I think they can only grow. I think people also state things to bait you - which is a bit mean but they seem to be successful. At the end of the day, it's just a game of fotoy - which ever code you like, although I get the feeling if your daughter brought home a bloke (for arguements sake - have no idea if you have a daughte), you would throw him out of the house - not jokingly - but quite seriously - akin to 1950's Alabama where a white girl brings home her black boyfriend lol.

In short - it's not a big deal. So what if AFL is getting bigger in QLD - does it matter? So what if NRl gets a few more clubs to play in the 1 league in Victoria - does it matter?

anyway - good chat.

I rarely see new posts from AFL people about the nrl - heck I rarely see new posts about AFL by AFL posters.

I know you’d like to think that - and that is fine if you do of course - but I don’t see any evidence of that.

I think the growth of clubs and leagues as well as player registrations point to definite growth. Ratings still am issue and shows AFL (as opposed to Aussie rule) still has some way to go .

Regardless of why or who - or body type - it's still growth. I don't know the opinions of every kids in the state however like you. And if your preference is for the body type of men who play RL or RU that fine - I guess it is a personal preference. Some people like the more athletic body type of the AFL player - each to there own I guess.
