And yet, still 100,000 more than your crap shoot of crowds.

And given the reason they are down isnt form or non interest, but the venue and teams playing. You can shove the excuses line up your arse.
Deep breaths Sooks, you're getting really triggered over this non controversial issue. Fact - AFL finals crowds are down. You can't argue against facts pal. So why the anger and venom??? It's just silly.

I know you are wildly passionate about your beloved fumble football code but you really need to stay calm and stick to the facts at hand. Continually lashing out with hatred and vitriol toward RL brings you no credit.

How good was the Lions GWS game on the weekend. It was the greatest comeback in a final since 1931.

All anyone is talking about in Brisbane is this mighty Lions comeback by a great resilient team.

I guess if you don't want to support footy in QLD then you can follow the Cowboys in the Rugby League. Wake me up when that is over.

I think when you have sell outs for most games - it’s pretty good re : finals. You can only fill what there is to fill. The giants game was not as great as it could of been but we all know the giants are struggling.

And anyway - we know crowds are a strong point for AFL and not a strong point for nrl - particuarly in Sydney for nrl. I’d say Sydney swans are doing great crowd wise and really, giants are probably not where they were hoped to be re: support (definetely) but given the area they are trying to tap - probably where they were going to be - if not worse.

I thi k it is some spin trying to say finals crowds this year are dissapointing when all but one has been mostly full of not full - basing this on last year where more games played at larger stadiums - with calls now for a larger stadium for the swans - and lions - due to consistently large crowds.

That doesn't seem to work in reverse though fwed , fumblers always use the NRL having smaller crowds as being some pointer to its inferiority as you just have there , the entrenched arrogance comes to the fore
no consideration is given to the NRL for selling out many games in 2024 & 3 of its 4 week one finals as well with the 4th one attracting a far bigger crowd then any swines game has in 2024 or for a long long time , the NRL is doing as much as they can do ... fill their grounds

Our venues are smaller , end of
& if this isn't a valid point for our smaller crowds then don't cry when its pointed out .. correctly .. that your finals crowds are down because where they're played is irrelevant

That’s not true at all - they pack out port and Adelaide games in South Australia… and games in Perth also get big crowds. Even the swans and lions get large crowds. I’m not sure what your definition of big is ? Even Geelong sell out their games and/ir get big crowds. Are you being for real re: big crowds only at the mcg? There was a sell out in adelaide just this weekend?

The AFL have had sellouts everyone of their finals games this year except for the GWS Lions game which is not surprising considering no one follows footy in Western Sydney & GWS are an irrelevant club.

The NRL cannot go close to selling out any game even in their heartland which I find very sad for Thugby supporters.

The NRL must be very upset the Broncos did not make it as they are the only Rugby team that gets any decent crowds.

And still the NRL was down 100k on the AFLs week 1 finals total. Your big Sydney final was just over half the size of the biggest AFL final. But thats ok, it was only the biggest crowd of the year, of any code, in any location, in Australia, in 2024.

And only the matter of 4 million behind over the year.

But hey im sure the AFL gives a shit about your thoughts on its attendances.
