50,741 - Is this a pass?? I think not - if played on a Friday Night or Saturday or Sunday Afternoon it should have has another 15 to 20 Thousand - however this year - with crowds down across the board - who knows.
Really crap weather….I’d say a good pass.
i see , so if it was a fine night it would have got 72K then ?

good number of Fitzroy fans at the game too..
i think 37k for these two sides is quite good.
it was also a record crowd between the two clubs

Yeah - I still think it is poor despite being a Thursday night, despite being an interstate team, and despite being bloody cold - and despite it being Melbourne who traditionally draw low crowds anyway.
On the note of Fitzroy fans - how many do you think are still running around.

. It was quite some time ago. I know of some who jumped ship when they moved and never embraced the Lions/Brisbane - but many did of course. The numbers must be thinning. Of course, there may well be new fans of the Lions in Melbourne given their winning streak. Also, there would be those who flew in (School holidays starting). - My son and his mate flew down Wednesday for a weekend of footy and went to this game. Shame, as he has never been to a packed MCG - which is something to behold and an experience in and of itself.

Just bought some tickets to the Suns v Collingwood game - all corporate sold out - some in the Pirate lounge ($140), Level 1 premium - none available, and Level 2 Premium a lot sold - all the front seats gone. Had to ring the club to ask if they were holding some back for later release - assured me they were not - so bought up my two tickets.
I did wonder, seeing when i googled a lot of "other" sites were offering tickets - and nearly fell for it - but then checked and back away from the site - whether these companies buy a lot of tickets and on-sell ? What happens if they don't sell them all etc. Cause will be pissed if turn up and there are front row seats empty in the stand!!!!
The lady did say they are expecting their biggest crowd for a long-time. what does it hold - 24 thousand?? I usually go to standing room and get a good view at the wing - however even if going on own would buy a ticket as don't think there will be much space there.

i recan there will be 20k at the game.
going back over the years,
Collingwood, Richmond have not had lower than 16k at a Suns Home Game.
For the year Suns will prob beat Titans in Crowd numbers not including suns two poorly attended games in Darwin
could come down to the Broncos v Titans Game.
lets be honest, Titans have been one shocking team this year. and deserve to be last..

Just looking at CBUS V Metricon as a measure of who is getting the bigger crowds. Suns have been woeful for a long long time - so crowds should build next year as they improve.
