It’s about the spend. As an example ... AFL spent 40 or 50 mil on grassroots ... nrl 10. So let’s just say the AFL wanted to cut costs and not invest in grassroots ...say only put on 10 mil ... they’d be miles ahead. But the AFL choose to invest heavily in this and other areas. Personally I think they should have no profit ... should all be invested back into the game ... maybe a future fund ... I think they do that ... but you see what I mean.
