Lol uneven as in thrashings . Basketcase teams .
The cream will rise .
The basketcases will sink
big margins are part of the sport and have been that way for a century. Clearly the fans don't care because it hasnt stop the AFL being the best attended, most watched, and richest sport in Australia

Yep. Nothing like being the 2nd most watched sport in our great land. The floggings are a problem though. That's why they changed masses of the rules. Like I've said.......like many times........an ugly mess is an ugly mess. It's pretty hard to make Miss Piggy look like Miss World!!!

Most watched
Don't ignore that fact .
IM sure you'll just go around the fishbowl again . It won't change the fact that RL is the most watched sport in this country by a fair margin

After 10 head to head games this season youve lost all 10. You lost all head to head finals last year.

In other words the NRL have rated lower than the AFL in 19 of the last 19 head to head games.

How can you possibly claim the NRL is more popular on TV?

Oh dear .
It's simple maths .
The higher number is more .2 is bigger than 1
100 million is bigger than 99 million .
Grade 1 you are taught things like that .
Apparently in Vicderpia it's different .

AFL beats the NRL in head to head counts every year. The NRL make up the difference due to the differences in scheduling. They'll say it doesnt matter but it clearly does, otherwise they'd win both the total, and the head to heads

Oh dear here's we go again . The scheduling bullshit .
What you lose in scheduling you make up in targeting home cities with home game .
We lose the home ratings of one team each week .
It evens out .
We win .
You poor saps just can't accept defeat .
Get help .

no, it doesnt even out at all.

Melbourne and Sydney are the major heartlands for both codes and get the same FTA viewing conditions: same number of FTA games for the season, and most local clubs are not shown on FTA every week. However, the NRL is significantly favored on fox because every game is shown in isolation.

This makes up over 1/3rd of the heartland population.

The remaining difference is QLD (NRL) vs WA/SA (AFL). The AFL are ahead on FTA because they see their clubs every round. However, the Broncos are shown on FTA in 16 rounds so the advantage is only 6 rounds. Then the AFL are disadvantaged because Perth only see a few prime time games a year and see most games on 7mate. So the FTA comparison is basically the same. However, again, the NRL is significantly favored on fox because every game is shown in isolation.

Then you need to factor in the advantage the NRL have on fox because subscriptions are higher in NSW and QLD, increasing fox ratings for the NRL.

So that is the true story: similar FTA advantages for both codes, while the NRL grossly advantaged on Fox.

This is why the AFL can win 19-0 head to head matches in a row yet still not accumulate more ratings over the year
