Furthermore, were charges even laid in these cases? Accusations were made, a small amount of money allegedly changed hands, alleged by someone who cant remember the specifics, and none of the allegations were investigated by police or tried in court. That's your proof?

he has stated he won't violate a confidentiality agreement between two consenting parties. Fair enough too. If these women were really aggrieved I'm sure they could refuse the money and make a complaint

You're very naive. In the case of celebrities or public figures plenty of payouts are made to keep matters outside the public eye, even if the issue or incident isnt significant or criminal. The fact none of these incidents result in criminal charges or convictions means you are assuming guilt without proof.

Again your paranoia gets the better of you!

1. Milne's case was f'd up, and possibly due to a couple of dogdy cops who mishandled the original complaint because they followed the club Milne played for. But to cliam the AFL have some sort of power over the way police as an organisation conduct their business is hogwash. Furthermore, Milne was eventually charged and convicted, so why werent the police influenced then?

2. There is no suggestion of AFL influence mentioned in any of the investigations into the police investigations, nor any suggestion it's a common occurance. Yes a few cops messed up, but that does not equate to the allegations you are making
