If the teams improve on field their ratings might improve .
But if they stay tethesame I can't see the ratings being much different
Im willing to admit im wrong if the ratings dont change from last year. Are you willing to concede if they're better?

I think Channel 7 may also be doing a push to promote the AFL more on TV

so this will also help the figures..

The Lions have also been guaranteed a few good slots against big teams..

I was talking about comparable games at comparable times you moron. AFL typically rated 20k on 7mate. Will it rate higher in the same time frame but on ch7

Apparently the Brisbane Lions were Live 3 times on Channel 7 last year..
and ratings were horrendous..

they have been bumped up from 3 games to 8 games this year.

This is stated in the article which i provided.

figures for both teams never went really above 20k on Ch7 or on 7mate

Horrendous

They rate similar to the storm in Melbourne yet Brisbane has half the population and they are opposite ends of the ladder

Difference is we don't brag how BIG RL is in Melb .
Don't beat our chests about dodgy participation figures in QLD
Where are all these hundreds of thousands of AFL fans when their home team is playing .

actually there is another reason why to that..

as the Melbourne Storm in the past have had usually majority of there games on FOX Network.
so majority of supporters who have FOX would watch FOX

this is a difference with the Lions which games are played on FTA weekly.
