You can explain it over & over ..rep football
Multi layered sport .
The dumb southern hicks just can't comprehend it .

Hi Bea ..you get a singlet .

The biggest team in nsw is the NSW blues

If you've got something to counter that fact please post it

Excuse my naivety leaguers.
But is it internationals/country that are the pinnacle of league?
Then is it rep/state that is the first lower grade for league?
And finally is must be the National Flogby League being the lowest grade for professional league players?

Is that the right order? I honestly don't know...

I agree, the biggest team in NSW is the Sydney Swans and to compare them to a team formed only for a special event is a ridiculous and invalid comparison.
For example does anybody compare the USA basketball team to the Chicago Bulls ?
Does anybody compare the English world cup soccer team to Manchester United ?
The answer to both questions is no because the comparisons are completely out of context.
Sydney Swans are the biggest club team in NSW.

I concur, this thread states Sydney in the title not NSW.
How many members do the Blues have? Hmmmm
The Swans take the cake either way. Imo
Leagues crippling multi levels means about 85% of professional league players will only ever play 3rd grade league in the National Flogby League.
When are they going to realise that making their domestic comp the Premier comp is the recipe to success.
Basically just copy everything the AFL are doing and have done.

Excuses excuses lol... you just can't comprehend a representative team because no other nation gives a shit about AFL. Actually your sport has zero rep teams hey..
You have nobody to play your sport against. Never have, never will.

Is the English national footbal team more popular than Manchester United. Of course it is.

Is the dream team more popular than the Chicago Bulls. Of course they are.

Whole nations watch their international teams. While only cities or towns watch their usual local club games.

Fifa world cup is the most watched sporting competition in the world. So are all their teams not legit?
Poor AFL fans, no idea hehe... =D =D

As for your point on AFL rep teams, who came up with the concept of State of Origin ?

Are you the full quid?
If you think league in this country can in any way be compared to the dream team and the English national team you are DREAMING!
