That looks to be close to a quarter drop off. So far.
That's 1 in every 4.
Even with a sell out (doubtful) final it might get to 14k.


Let's scale this for some perspective.
That would be like saying 1,821,970 of the spectators that attended AFL matches this year aren't going to attend next year.
If this happened (it won't) it would be the biggest story in the country.

"They're distroying our game"

So on the day we have two world cup finals games to be played we have Beatup clogging up the site with what is nothing more than AFL propaganda!!!!

Let's place ourselves above this partisan raging bias and look forward to two great games. I expect Australia to win both however upsets aren't out of the question. I would go so far as to say a win by England in the men's game would be good for international RL. Bring it on!!!

To be jealous I'd need to wish we had an AFL WC.
I don't.

Let's picture that for a second though.

Austrian team- Bristling with the absolute best players from the AFL.

Any other counties team- Lucky to have one maybe a couple.

It would be the most lop sided WC in history. Even more than the RLWC. And we know how that's working out.

It also goes against AFL mission statement of equalization.
They know what the people want.
