The Penrith group are big. The football arm is a small contributor. Could the club survive without the leagues club side.... i don't know. I do know the leagues club doesn't need the football club. This is why it was classed as not a sporting organisation I guess. But either way it is what it is and the football club does well out of it and good luck to them.

FFA not surprising, outside of a world cup year, outside Asian Championship and I doubt would have included the revenue from the confederations cup
The FFA figure would not have included the TV revenue from those 3 events. Next 2 years results will have those 3 included in them

I think it wasn't classified as a sports club in that list. I noticed the other sporting clubs were in one classification but peneritg was classified as something else.
Serious question here: given the money in leagues clubs fro. Pokies, meals, and whatever else they offer why aren't there more rl league clubs in the list. What makes the Penrith one the stand out to perform so well ?
